Below are the appraiser classifications: State-licensed residential real estate appraisers must have acquired two thousand hours of experience in real estate appraisal. That appraisal experience must have been achieved within a 24 month period. State-certified Residential Real Estate Appraisers (home appraisal) professionals must have completed 2,500 hours of real property experience in not less than 30 months of work.
